Obituary of Brian Malcolm Carr
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Brian Malcolm Carr, born on August 31, 1951, announce his passing on May 8, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Howard and Kathleen (McDermott) Carr.
Brian lived his entire life on the Acamac Beach Road and attended South Bay School and Saint John Vocational School. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to go hunting and fishing with his dad and brothers. He also enjoyed motorcycles and photography. Years ago, everyone in the neighborhood would get him to work on their bikes.
Brian is survived by his brothers: Glendon (Lynn) Carr, Barry (Connie) Carr and Clayton (Evelyn) Carr. His sisters: Bernice Carr, Katherine (Donnie) Fougere, Diana (Ian) Andrews, Deborah Mullin, Barbara Clarke, Brenda Sarty and Angela Gallop. Several nieces and nephews and great niece and nephews. And his special life long friend John Lewis. In addition to his parents, Brian was predeceased by his brother, Richard Carr.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424). With visitation on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 12:00 PM from St. Rose Worship Site Holy Spirit Parish. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery following the service. Donations in memory of Brian may be made to Bobby’s Hospice. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
