Obituary of Marion Forsyth Hamilton
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marion Forsyth (Lennan) announces her passing which occurred on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at her home in Nerepis. Born on June 30, 1931, in Carter’s Point, NB, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Elizabeth (Dunnett) Lennan.
Marion is survived by her children, H. Dale Hamilton (Lorraine), David Hamilton, Rick Hamilton (Tina), Glen Hamilton (Laura); daughters, Debra Hamilton, Patty Hamilton, Sandy Hocevar (Tom); as well as 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her husband, Freeman W. Hamilton; brothers, John Lennan, Bill Lennan; sisters, Chris Cuthand, Mildred Harriman, Betty Pinnell, and Eleanor Lennan.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Extra Mural Program and to Dr. Dan Scott.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A visitation will take place from 12:00 – 2:00 PM with a funeral service to follow beginning at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, May 12, 2022, in Nerepis United Baptist Church (17 Poplar Street, Nerepis, NB). Interment will take place in Oak Point Baptist Cemetery. Donations in memory of Marion may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
