Obituary of Marie Jean Bastian

The untimely death of Marie Jean Bastian of Saint John occurred on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at her residence.  Born on December 16, 1975 in Saint John, she was the daughter of Gerry and Sharon (Cameron) Bastian.

In addition to her parents, Marie is survived by her daughter, Fellica Bastian; sister, Lisa Lint; aunts and uncles, Shirley Doucet (Marcel), Frances Bailey (the late Richard), Robert Cameron and Bonnie Snodgrass (David); nephew, George Lint and many cousins.  Marie was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Ruby Cameron and uncle, Michael Cameron.

Marie’s friends were her world and she always enjoyed spending time with them.  She especially treasured the times spent with her lifelong and very best friend, Daisey Mason.  Marie loved music and always enjoyed singing karaoke.  She will be greatly missed.

In keeping with the families wishes, no services will take place.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
