Gary "Snowy" Snow

Obituary of Gary "Snowy" Snow

Peacefully and comfortably, Gary Stephen Snow passed away at Bobby’s Hospice on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in his 74th year. Born in Welland, Ontario on July 27th, 1948, he was a son of Isabella Snow.

Gary - or rather Snowy to his close friends - was well-known, loved and respected by everyone he met. People were naturally drawn to him because of his infectious smile and laugh. Gary was a hard-working man and worked as a heavy machine operator for the City of Saint John for many years. An avid Motorcyclist all his life, and die-hard Harley rider, Gary enjoyed hitting the open road as often as he could. Before his illness, he lived free, loved life, and lived it to the fullest. His presence will be missed but he will always live on in our hearts and memories.

Ride on freely Gary and rest in peace till we meet again. Keep smiling and enjoy your last ride.

Survived by his son Michael; stepsons Robert and Steven; step-grandchildren Athena, Lynora, and Delaney; sister Hope; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his loving wife Brenda, his parents and brother Les.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In following with Gary’s wishes cremation will take place with a private celebration of life being held at a later date. Donations in Gary’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association. For those who wish, condolences may be made by visiting www.BrenansFH.com.
