Obituary of Dorothy Farris

The passing of Dorothy Farris of Central Hainesville, wife of the late Ronald Farris, occurred at York Care Centre on June 2, 2022. Born on April 12, 1915 in Saint John, she was the only daughter of the late Butler and Alice (Tolley) Thorne.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Eleanor Morehouse (Ivan); grandsons, Craig (Wendy) and Barry (Gloria); granddaughter, Candace; great-granddaughters: Kayla, Rebecca (Kyle), and Emily; sister-in-law, Joyce Thorne; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Lee; and brothers: William, Ernest, Walter, and Niven.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at First Cambridge United Baptist Church Cemetery at McDonald Corner on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 3 pm with Pastor Chris Price Officiating.
