Interment
Obituary of Constance Craven
Our beloved mother and sister, Constance “Connie” Marie Craven, passed away on June 5th, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 28th, 1934, in Saint John, NB she was one of three daughters born to Walter and Adella (nee Wetmore) Dow.
A kind and caring woman, family was everything to Connie. In her younger years, her favorite place to spend her time was at the camp on Washedemoak Lake. Connie, along with her parents and sisters, would spend all summer long there for 20 plus years. In her spare time, Connie would indulge her artist side by designing various arts and crafts, making hats, etc., and selling them at local flea markings and craft shows. Family was not the only one important to Connie. Her toy poodle Boots was her loving companion who was always by her side.
Survived by her three sons James, Andrew, and John (Letitia); sister Joan; as well as her cousins. Connie’s passing comes shortly after her husband, Charles, death whom she was with for over 60 years. She is also predeceased by her parents, and sister Margaret.
Thank you for all the support and laughter you have given us. We will miss you, mom. Till we meet again.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424).
