Obituary of Leatha Patience McGrath
Leatha Patience McGrath passed away on October 30, 2015 at the Loch Lomond Village. Born on December 16, 1925 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Frances (Armstrong) Weston. Surviving are her children Stirling McGrath (Marilyn), Lakewood; Mary Snell (Brian), Rowley; Carol Ryan (Arthur), Loch Lomond; Michael McGrath, (Donna) Quispamsis; Richard McGrath (Martha), Lakewood; Danny McGrath (Debbie) Saint John; Patricia Davis (Jamie), Willow Grove; Paula Dobbelsteyn (Jamie), Saint John; brother, Arnold Weston (Rita) Upham; sister, Elizabeth Chamberlain (Gerald), Moncton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephew. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Herbert McGrath; daughter, Elaine Duncan; granddaughter, Sarah McGrath; sister, Mary Maynard; brothers Lawrence, Arthur, Edison, Fraser, Wesley, Joseph, Charles and James. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joseph’s Church, 4347 Loch Lomond Road, Saint John on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Black River. For those who wish, remembrances made to Divine Mercy School, Saint John or to St. Joseph's H.O.P.E Center, would be appreciated by the family.
