Obituary of Albert H. C. Osborne
The death of Albert H.C. “Charlie” Osborne of 22 Stephenson Tower, Saint John, NB occurred on January 18, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Born in West Saint John the son of the late Robert and Gussie (Turner) Osborne. Charlie served with the Royal Canadian Regiment (Artillery) during the Korean Conflict and was employed as a Nursing Orderly at the Saint John General Hospital prior to his retirement. He is survived by three nephews, Britt MacLeod (Rita), Dennis MacLeod and David Osborne; one niece, Gussie Roxanne Daigle (Francis); five grand-nephews, one grand-niece and several cousins. Charlie was predeceased by a daughter, Holly Osborne; sisters, Helen MacLeod and Marjorie Osborne; brother, Robert Osborne. Also survived by sons, Lance and Timothy Osborne and daughter, April Osborne. Special thanks to the Staff or 4BN and the Palliative Care Unit at the Regional. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with a Tribute to a Veteran Service at 7 pm on Thursday. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2005 at 2 pm from St. Jude's Anglican Church, 319 Lancaster Ave, Saint John West. Interment will be held in the spring in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, Field of Honour. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
