Obituary of Faye Elizabeth Price
The passing of Faye Price of Saint John occurred on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 24, 1945 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (McFarland) Price. Faye’s beautiful spirit, kind and gentle ways will never be forgotten by all those who knew her. She always held a special place in her heart for all animals and especially adored her canine companions, Secret, Veegis, Spanky Sullivan and Henry Brown. Faye enjoyed gardening and treasured the times spent with those she loved. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a bookkeeper and as a private caregiver. She will be sadly missed. Faye is survived by her children, Elizabeth Breau of Saint John and David Haynes (Krista) of Milton, ON; sister, Dorothy Price (William) of Rothesay; aunt, Dorothy Marshall of Rothesay; nephew, Thomas Hatfield of Fort McMurray, AB; as well as many special friends. Besides her parents, Faye was also predeceased by her aunts, Edna, Mary and Hilda and uncles, Raymond and Russell. Although there will be no funeral service, relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation celebrating Faye’s life, which will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances in Faye’s memory may be made to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue.
