Obituary of Margaret Edith Mary Ketch
Ketch, Margaret Edith Mary- Margaret Ketch, wife of the late Clive V. Ketch passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice. Margaret was born in Fairville, NB. She was the daughter of the late William and Winnifred (Forgey) Hughes. Margaret worked many years at Sears, and was a member of St. Jude’s Church, where she served with the W.A. She and Clive had a lovely life together, and traveled to many destinations. Margaret is survived by her three children: Linda Peacock (Rick), Kathy Paul (Ricky), and Mark Ketch (Darlene); seven grandchildren: Brian (Jaime), Kurt (Carla), Mark (Tricia), Jennifer (Scott), Vanessa, Christopher (Laura), and Melissa (Jason); great-grandchildren: Steven, Ella, Scott, Kate, Ava, Carter, Alex, Cassidy, Jayla; sisters: Win Maxwell and Grace Long (Chuck); and several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides her husband and parents, Margaret was predeceased by her brother, Bill Hughes. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Serenity Cove Special Care Home and Bobby’s Hospice for going over and above in their care for their mother. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424, with visiting on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 from The Church Of The Resurrection, 20 Macdonald Avenue, Grand Bay-Westfield, at 11 am. Following a reception at the church, interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice, The Church Of The Resurrection, the Heart And Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. www.brenansfh.com
