Obituary of Marion Elizabeth Follet

The death of Marion Elizabeth Follett, of 141 Gondola Blvd., Quispamsis, wife of Roland B. Follett, occurred on Monday, April 28, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Andover, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank LeRoy and Bessie Mabel (Foster) Jones. Mrs. Follett worked at Eaton's Order Office and NB Tel for several years prior to her marriage. Following her marriage she worked with her husband at Follett's Hardware for many years and was a member of Courtenay Avenue Gospel Hall. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Lawrence “Larry” Follett (Deborah) of Saint John, two daughters, Anna Tranquilla (Stephen) of McLeod Hill, NB and Julie Follett of Quispamsis, brother, Gordon Jones of Barry's Bay, ON, two sisters-in-law, Mary Geldart of Perth-Andover and Gretchen Woodland of McAdam, grandchildren, Sharon Lopez (Roy), Stephen and Timothy Follett, Stephanie, Angela and Nathan Tranquilla, one great-grand-daughter, Carmen Deborah Lopez, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Arnold and Ronald Jones. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 1, 2003 at 1:00 PM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
