Obituary of Baby Lucy Hilary Lignos
Baby Lucy Lignos was born sleeping into the arms of her parents, Amy Alward and Leo Lignos, on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 8:12 pm. She weighed 7lbs 9.4oz, and is the definition of beauty. In addition to her parents, Lucy was already so loved by her sister, Ellie Alexandria; her grandmothers: Carol Blizzard Lignos and Arlene Haley; grandfather, Tim Brown; great-grandparents, Art and Joan Blizzard; aunts: Nicole Lignos, Hilary Alward, Ariel Haley-Seneshen, and Sam Haley-Seneshen; uncles: Nick Lignos and Josh Haley-Seneshen; and cousins: Kalie, Kiera, Jackson, Shae, Joshua, and Haley. She was welcomed into heaven by her grandfather, Nick Lignos; and great-grandmothers, Dorothy Haley and Doreen Blizzard Jones. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10 am from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Saint John Regional Hospital’s Labour and Delivery Department would be appreciated by the family. An angel in the Book of Life wrote down our daughter’s birth, then whispered as she closed the book "Too beautiful for earth".
