Obituary of Gary Wayne Yeo
It is with great sadness that the family of Gary Yeo of Saint John announce his passing, which occurred on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on December 3, 1952 in McAdam, he was the son of the late Horace and Laura (Campbell) Yeo. In his younger years, Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman. He always enjoyed a good game of Texas Hold’em but most of all he cherished the quality time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife, Diane; five daughters, Shirley Yeo, Wyomia Burbridge (Mark), Alicia Yeo (Tyler), Charlene Bridges and Jenny Nicolle (Stanley) all of Saint John; six grandchildren, Missy, Tiffany, JJ, Latoya, Markie and Adelyn; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Elma Reardon (Blaine), Wyomia Ramsay, Joan Wheeler, Alice Clarke (Gerry), Barbara Colter (Darrell), Sharon Chisholm (Billy), Cathy Yeo and Bonnie Flanagan (Peter); brothers, Horace and Ted; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Shirley and brothers, Sonny, Ivan and Randy. Gary’s family would like to thank the staff of Interventional and Dialysis, along with the staff of 4BS at the SJRH for the excellent care that was provided to dad. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Canadian Liver Foundation-SJ Chapter or charity of the donor’s choice.
