Obituary of Wendi Ann Pye
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wendi Ann Pye (Jimmo) on Sunday April 30, 2017 at the SJRH after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Born August 25, 1970 in Miramichi, NB, she was the loving daughter of John and Yolande (Savoie) Jimmo. She was a loving wife to Ronnie and a devoted mother to daughter Jessica. Wendi is survived by her sisters, Brenda Webber (Rhodes) and Karen Jimmo; nieces, Haley and Allie Jimmo; nephew, Matthew Webber; as well as many friends. Wendi was loved and respected by Ronnie’s extended family and will be greatly missed. Wendi was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Gerard and Louisa (Roussell) Savoie; paternal grandparents, Preston and Annie (O’Leary) Jimmo; and in-laws: Bernard and Violet (Perry) Pye, Diane "Dean" Breen, and Paul Pye. Wendi loved to shop, go away on vacations, puppies, and sparkly things. Special thanks to Father David Martin and staff of the Oncology and Palliative Care units at the SJRH for their care and compassion during this difficult time. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 45 Dollard Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 10am. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue, Value Village or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
