Obituary of Hazel Marie Finn

It is with great sadness the family of Hazel Marie (Oram) Finn, wife of the late Robert Finn, announce her passing at Rocmaura Nursing Home on May 27, 2017. Born in Saint John on June 6, 1936, she was a daughter of the late George and Pearl (MacAleer) Oram. Hazel had a great love for the outdoors, especially camping, swimming and boating. She enjoyed cooking, knitting and having company over. Hazel also had a passion for drawing. Hazel is survived by her brother Ron (Olive) Oram and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Robert, Lawrence and William Oram, and sister Phyllis Stennick. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM with the interment to follow at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Hazel may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
