Obituary of Pauline Mae Shannon
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Pauline Shannon of Quispamsis, cherished wife of Patrick Shannon announces her passing, which occurred on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at her home. Born on January 14, 1959 in Moncton, she was the daughter of Gloria (Gavin) Campbell of Quispamsis and the late Paul Campbell. Prior to her illness, Pauline had a long working career at Vito’s in Rothesay. She always treasured the times spent with those she loved and had many fond memories of Pine Cone Camping and travelling adventures with close family and friends. Pauline also enjoyed bowling and will always be remembered for her kind and loving ways. In addition to her husband, Patrick, Pauline will also be sadly missed by their children, Christa Shannon of Nova Scotia, Trevor Shannon and Kayla Shannon both of Quispamsis; siblings, John Campbell (Joanne) of Oromocto, Dale Campbell and Stacey Campbell both of Quispamsis; precious grandchildren, Tara and Sarah; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul, Rick (Cheryl), Brian (Debbie), Bonnie Byers (Gary), Kevin (Arlene), Wade (Adele), Barry (Janice) and Kelley Daamen (Anthony); as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Tara and father and mother-in-law, Ronald and Vivian Shannon. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 6-8 PM and Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mark’s Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
