Obituary of Roy C. A. Rogers
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Roy Christopher Allison Rogers announces his passing which occurred on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Liverpool. NS on May 2, 1942, he was a son of the late John and Muriel (Griffith) Rogers. Roy worked for many years as a welder, and took great pride in his work. He was a caring, devoted family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Roy was an avid outdoorsman, and liked to go camping and fishing in his free time. Roy will be missed by his children: Larry (Susan), Roy (Wade), Danny (Kaye) and Christina; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Carol VanWart (Roy); as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Roy was predeceased by his siblings: Edith, George, Harry, John, Lucy, James, Mary, Maxwell, Eric, Marlene and Patrick. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Roy’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will take place at this time.
