Obituary of Isabelle Bessie Irene Meikle

The death of Isabelle Bessie Irene Meikle, of 10 Durham Street, Saint John, occurred on Sunday, June 1, 2003 at her residence. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late William Wallace Meikle and Elizabeth (Riley) (Meikle) MacKenzie. Miss Meikle was Anglican by faith and attended St. Paul's (Valley) Anglican Church and was a member of the Golden Harps Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by one son, Raymond of Halifax, NS, one daughter, Pat Aiton (Gary) of Saint John, one brother, Harold Meikle of Fredericton, two grandchildren, Lorena Belliveau (Kevin) of Fredericton and Sean Collicott and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her companion, Thomas Durning, one daughter, Sharon Collicott an infant daughter, Roberta Irene and one brother, Roland Meikle. By her request, there will be no visiting at the Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
