Obituary of Charles Albert Roy Daniel
The death of Charles Albert Roy Daniel of Musquash, NB, occurred on Sunday, June 5, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Musquash, NB on April 12, 1922, he was the son of the late Robert Roy and Harriet (Lowe) Daniel. Charlie spent his whole life living in Musquash except for four years spent overseas with the Canadian Army during World War II, where he served with the Nova Scotia Highlanders. He was a Carpenter by trade and built homes in Musquash, Lepreau and Dipper Harbour. He was employed with the NB Power Commission in Musquash until his health failed. He will be remembered by his willingness to help others. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Daniel of Musquash and Dorothy Cole of Saint John and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by one brother, Sinclair Daniel and two sisters, Bertha Penny and Helen Belmore. A graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Chris McMullen officiating. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated. Arrangements under the direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
