Obituary of Reginald B. Praught

The death of Reginald B. Praught, of Saint John West, occurred suddenly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, August 1, 2003. Born in Wellington Center, PEI, he was the son of Louis Praught of PEI and the late Myrtle (Barry) Praught. Reg loved to play crib and golf and was always ready to lend a helping hand to others. He loved to barbeque and had even patented his own “Reggie Burger”. He is survived by one son, Jason Praught (Carolyn), Edmonton, AB, one daughter, Mary-Ann Praught (Paul Masson), Saint John, their mother, Vannessa (Ross) Praught, seven brothers, Gerry, Jack (Gail), Leo (Susan), Brian (Lois), Mike (Camilla Aucoin), Kevin (Nelda) and Emmett (Nancy), all of PEI, one sister, Claire Colwill (Brian), PEI, his grandmother, Mary C. Barry of PEI, special friend, Pam Racette and her children, Jacqueline and Stephane, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Errol and Junior Praught, one sister-in-law Sheila. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Reginald will then be taken to rest at Moase Funeral Home, 150 Summer Street, Summerside, PEI (902-436-2301), with visiting on Tuesday 6-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, Wellington Center, PEI, on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated.
