Obituary of Jennie M. Chandler
The death of Jennie M. Chandler of Fredericton, NB, formerly of Fort Howe, Saint John, wife of the late Edmund J. Chandler, occurred peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 surrounded by her loving family at the Dr. Everett Chambers Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Summerside, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Zelda (Gallant) Linkletter. Mrs. Chandler was a former member of Holy Trinity Parish in Saint John. She moved to Fredericton 18 years ago to be closer to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie; son-in-law Arthur T. Doyle of Fredericton; cherished grandchildren, Heather (John Landry) of Fredericton, Natalie (Michael Oldfield) of Halifax, NS, Arthur (Daniele) of Rothesay, Bonnie Doyle of Ottawa, ON and Nancy Doyle of Fredericton; her four great grandchildren, Sally and Jane Landry and Patrick and Courtney Oldfield; one brother, Kenneth Linkletter; six sisters, Marjorie Stanton, Marie Mouland, Shirley Purchase, Bonnie Wilson, Guelda Adams and Florena McCarthy; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, William Linkletter and one sister, Inez Linkletter. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, Rockland Road, Saint John, on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
