Obituary of Ralph Frederick Conley
CONLEY, RALPH F.- The death of Ralph Frederick Conley of Chateau de Champlain, 300 Boars Head Road, Saint John, husband of 64 years to Dorothy P. (Winchester) Conley, occurred on Monday, September 19, 2005 at his residence. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Harry Vincent and Jennie Myrtle (Riecker) Conley. Ralph was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. at Howe's Lake Military Hospital. He was employed with H. R. Haldeman Corporation Inc. in the United States for many years before his retirement. Ralph and his wife Dorothy lived and worked in the United States from 1951-2004 before moving back to Saint John to be closer to family. Besides his wife, he is survived by one brother, Donald P. (Joy), one sister, Myrtle J. Watts, both of Saint John and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, John, Harold and Rolley Conley. A memorial service will be held at Chateau de Champlain, 300 Boars Head Road, Saint John on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
