Obituary of Pearl Irene Simpson

The death of Pearl Irene Simpson, wife of the late George Malcolm Simpson, of Saint John, NB, occurred on Monday, September 26, 2005 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John a daughter of the late Isaiah Jacob and Ethel Wyonia (Kelly) Holmes, Pearl had been employed with Smith Brokerage Co. as a bookkeeper and for many years with Coca Cola Co. Ltd., she was an avid bowler and was involved with her church for many years being Baptist by faith. Survived by her two sisters, Bernice Long and Audrey (Ronald) Long, both of Saint John; step-son, Glen Simpson and his wife, Dianne and their children and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers: Don, Arthur and Walter and sisters: Annetta, Gertrude and Ethel. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 from Brenan's Chapel at 1:00 pm with interment following in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
