Obituary of Walter Ivan Scott

SCOTT, Walter Ivan “Pete” ? The death of Walter Ivan (Pete) Scott of Saint John, NB occurred on Friday, September 30, 2005 at the Ridgewood Veteran's Wing. Born on January 10, 1920 in Saint John West a son of the late Walter and Viola (Belyea) Scott, Walter was a veteran of WWII and served overseas with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (RCASC). He is survived by one brother, Malcolm “Chip” and Eveline (Taylor) Scott of Saint John; sisters-in-law, Gwendolyn Scott of Saint John and Patricia Scott of Toronto; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers, Donald, Norman, and Gerald and his sisters, Ruth Reicker and infant sister Winnifred. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB 634-7424 with visiting on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 from Brenan's Chapel at 2:15 pm. A Royal Canadian Legion Tribute Service will held during visitation on Monday at 7 pm. Interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery after the service. Remembrances may be made to Ridgewood Veteran's Wing Comfort Fund.
