Obituary of Dorothy Pearl Jefferson

The death of Dorothy Pearl Jefferson of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Victor Jefferson, occurred on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John a daughter of the late Percy and Cora (Dickinson) Speight. Survived by five daughters: Patricia (Larry) Percy of Fredericton, NB, Brenda St. Coeur of Hamilton, ON, Shirley, Linda and Kimberley Jefferson, all of Saint John; two sons: Paul (Terralyn) and Allen, both of Saint John; brother, Kenneth (Judy) Speight of Kingston, ON; seventeen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one son, Kenny; two sisters, Shirley Kinney and Audrey Speight; four brothers, Doug, Robert, Percy “Babe” and Arthur. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. At the family's request there will be no visiting, a Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Greenwood Cemetery at 2 pm. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
