Obituary of Henrietta Theresa Comeau
Comeau, Henrietta Theresa - wife of Denis J. Comeau, Pugsley Avenue, Saint John, NB, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Middle West Pubnico, NS, in 1925, she was a daughter of the late Hattie and Edmund d'Eon. Henrietta graduated from St. Martha's School of Nursing in Antigonish, NS, in 1948 and practiced her nursing career in Yarmouth, NS, Ottawa and Toronto, ON, and in various capacities in most Saint John hospitals, retiring in 1984. Survived by her husband of over fifty-five years as well as two daughters: Charmaine (Ronald) Chambers of Summerside, P.E.I. and Simone of Lower Sackville, NS; two grandchildren: Lauren (in Calgary) and Colin (in Lower Sackville); one sister Celeste and one brother Camille in Pubnico, NS. Predeceased by one sister, Zita, and a brother Gerard as well as her stepmother Florence. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will held at St. Pius X Church on Monday, October 17, 2005, at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Saint John or to the charity of the donor's choice.
