Obituary of Nancy A. Savoy
SAVOY (Devost), Nancy A. ? The death of Nancy A. (Devost) Savoy of Saint John, NB, wife of Edmund J. Savoy, occurred on Monday, October 31, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Shelbourne, NS, a daughter of the late Joseph and Vivian (Acker) Doucette. Besides her husband, Nancy is survived by two sons, James McNeil of Hampton, NB and Paul Devost of Ste. Anne de Madawaska, NB; two daughters, Roseanne Devost of Ste. Anne de Madawaska and Lucy Devost (Melvin McKnight) of Baxter's Corner, NB; four brothers, Joe, Rheal, Yvon (Colette) and John (Diane) Doucette, all of Saint John; three sisters, Maxine and Theresa Doucette, and Elizabeth McKay, all of Saint John; four grandchildren, Samantha and Jocelyn Hogan, and Michael and Tammy Devost; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter, Tina Marie Devost and sister, Madeline Hobbs. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Peter's Church, Clarendon St., Saint John North on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 10 am with interment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
