Obituary of Shirley A. Dennison

The death of Shirley A. (Gilliland) Dennison, of Saint John East, wife of Malcolm Dennison, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Kingston, NB, she is the daughter of the late Eugene and Florence Gilliland. Shirley was a seamstress and a past member of the Eastern Star. Besides her husband she is survived by her children Kevin (Angela) of Quispamsis, Cory (Amy) of Hampton, NB, and Karen Sharpe (David) of Sussex, NB, one brother Fred Gilliland (Norma) of Saint John, one sister Constance Barrett (Kenneth) of Saint John, eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Eugene and his wife Marie and two grandchildren. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2005, at 11:00 am, from Glen View United Church. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
