Obituary of Herman H. Wasson
WASSON, HERMAN H.- The death of Herman H. Wasson of 203 Cranston Avenue, Saint John, husband of the late June E. (Thorne) (Reeder) Wasson, occurred on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Plaster Rock, he was the son of the late Manzer and Margaret (Sisson) Wasson. Mr. Wasson was the owner and operator of Crown Sewing Machine for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas with the Royal Canadian Navy and was a member of the Portland Branch #64, Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by one son, Kenneth F. Reeder (Jacqueline) of Fredericton, one brother, Dana Wasson of Fredericton, one sister, Freda Mackness (Murray) of London, ON, one sister-in-law, Rita Wasson of Saint John, one brother-in-law, Regner Jensen of Fredericton, two grandchildren, Kimberley Reeder of St. Andrews and James Reeder of Toronto, ON, several nieces, nephews and special friend, Laura Crain of Sussex. He was predeceased by three brothers, Clayton, Harvey and Bruce and two sisters, Maxine Jensen and Irene Craft. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Main Street Baptist Church on Friday, December 9, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
