Obituary of Myrtle Ann Baxter
The death of Myrtle Ann Baxter, wife of the late George Baxter, occurred on December 29, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Loch Lomond, NB, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Annie (Parlee) Jones. She was a life-long resident of the Loch Lomond area. She was a member of All Saints Anglican Church, Loch Lomond, and the Silver Links Seniors. She was a loving and devoted mother and took special interest in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Gerald (Shirley), Harvey (Eileen), Carl (Ruth), Wayne (Kathy), all of Baxter's Corner, Gary (Shirley) of Loch Lomond, her daughter Shirley Rankin of Loch Lomond, daughter-in-law Joyce, her sister Jennie Baxter of the Loch Lomond Villa, her 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Her son Donald, son-in-law Charles Rankin, grandchildren Douglas and Troy, brothers Harold, Edward and Leonard Jones predeceased her. Resting Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at 10:00 am from All Saints Anglican Church, Loch Lomond. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances made to All Saints Anglican Church, Loch Lomond, or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
