Obituary of Joseph R. Lawless

The death of Joseph “Joe” Richard Lawless, of 243 Ludlow Street, Saint John West, husband of Mabel L. (Raynes) Lawless, occurred on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Walter Daniel and Mary Theresa (Martin) Lawless. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Mary Taylor (Steve), Karen Fairweather (Carl) both of Alberta, Danny Lawless (Joan Lewell), Dale King (Gerald), Linda Lawless (Robichaud) (Chris) and Peter Lawless (Nicky) all of Saint John, one brother, J. Walter Lawless of Ontario, 10 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. No flowers by request, remembrances to the Kidney Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
