Obituary of Margery Hilda Laird

The death of Margery Hilda Laird of Charlton Place, Saint John, wife of the late Leonard George Laird, occurred on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the age of 82, with cancer, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Patrick and Bertha (Ready) Ferrie. She is survived by four daughters, Joyce O'Brien (Dave), Sharon O'Brien (Francis), Diane Fox and Heather Savoy (John) all of Saint John, five sisters, Eva Fisher, Ruby Vanwart, Annie Kemp, Edith Keleher and Muriel Laird, all of Saint John, nine grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Robert Ferrie and two sisters, Mabel Johnson and Hazel Watson. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 1:00-2:00 PM. Memorial service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 2:15 PM.
