Obituary of Marjorie Elizabeth Roberts

The death of Marjorie E. Roberts, wife of the late Leonard W. Roberts, occurred on January 7, 2006 at her residence, the Carleton Kirk Lodge. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and May (Harding) Brittain. She was employed with MRA's Department Store for many years as an auditor. She took part in the knitting program at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She is survived by her son John and his wife Lori of Saint John, her daughter Sue and her husband Irvine Robertson of Saint John, her grandchildren John (Kathy), Marilen (Paul), Brent (Kim), Jennifer and Christopher, her great-grandchildren Daniel, Andrew, Mackenzie, Zachary and Zoe and her nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her sister Evelyn Sweeney. Following cremation visiting will take place at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), on Monday, January 9, 2006, from 7-9 pm. The memorial service will held on Tuesday, January 10, 2006, at 2:15 pm, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
