Obituary of ROBERT FRANKLIN PENDLETON
PENDLETON, ROBERT FRANKLIN ? Mr. Robert “Bob” Pendleton, age 77, of Saint John, NB passed away peacefully in hospital on January 9, 2006, surrounded by his family. In “Bubba” we lost a very loving and greatly loved member of our family. Born on Deer Island, NB on January 29, 1928, he was a son of the late, Clinton and Addie (Lambert) Pendleton. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Bob worked at the Saint John Dry Dock for 33 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Nolan) Pendleton, sons: Allison Pendleton (Linda) of Qualicum Beach, BC and John Pendleton (Kathy) of Bridgewater, NS, stepson; Doug Benjamin (Marilyn) of Rothesay, NB, stepdaughter; Sandra Hawkins of Saint John, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Bob is predeceased by his sisters; Dorothy McCullock and Virginia Pendleton, his brother, Ronald and grandsons; Sean Pendleton and William Benjamin. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2 ? 4 and 7 ? 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke or to a charity of the donor's choice.
