Obituary of Marie Ella Bartlett

The death of Marie Ella Bartlett, beloved wife of William Bartlett, occurred peacefully on February 6, 2006 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Hazel Dobson. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, William, children Elizabeth and her husband Dwight Hicks, Douglas Bartlett and his wife Judy, Dana Bartlett and his wife Starr, all of Saint John, sister Winnifred Dobson, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her brother Rene predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2006, at 1:00 pm, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Alzheimer Society, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, New Brunswick Lung Association or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
