Obituary of Barbara Irene Carson

Carson, Barbara Irene, Mrs. Barbara Irene Carson of 55 Magazine Street, Saint John, wife of the late Don Carson, passed away February 14th at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Saint John June 18, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Frederick & Irene (Kelly) Chase. She was a life member of the Dr. WM. McIntosh Chapter of the I.O.D.E. Barb and Don shared a love of the outdoors and enjoyed many years together with family and friends at Epworth Park, Maces Bay, Harvey Station and their special hideaway at East Long Lake. Barb is survived by her son Stephen, daughter-in-law Coleen (McNaughton) her loving granddaughter Laura and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Frederick and Donald Chase. A memorial service for the family will be held at the Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424) on Thursday at 10:00 am.
