Obituary of Jessie Maie Parker
Parker, Jessie Maie (McCracken) The death of Jessie Maie (McCracken) Parker, wife of the late Hardie C. Parker, occurred on February 19, 2006 at her residence the White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Junction. Born at Armstrong's Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Maude E. (Woods) McCracken. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are sons John Parker and his wife Jean, Donald Parker and his wife Cathy, all of Welsford, daughters Constance Gaudet of Saint John, Joan Lyon of Welsford, Madelyn Thorne of Saint John, 8 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Son William Parker, grandson William Parker, sisters Elsie Scribner, Mabyl McCracken and Annie McCracken, brothers Harry McCracken and George McCracken predeceased her. Although there will not be any visiting, following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the memorial service will be held at Welsford United Church at a later time (to be announced) with interment taking place at the Welsford Community Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Welsford Community Cemetery or the Welsford United Church would be appreciated.
