Obituary of Blanche L. Hamilton

Dolly' The death of Blanche L. 'Dolly' Hamilton, wife of the late Murray Hamilton, occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, February 26, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Born in Rothesay she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Blanche M. (Carpenter) Scribner. She enjoyed many summers at her cottage on the beautiful Grand Lake. She was active with the Rothesay Senior Citizens. Survived by sons Murray A. 'Sonny' and his wife Zola, Wallace and his wife Judy, Wayne and his wife Sandy, daughters Florence 'Flo' and her husband Fred Bishop of Quispamsis, Blanche and her husband Greg Fleck of Moncton, Murylene and her husband Peter Russell of Guelph, ON, Sheila and her husband David Greer of Gondola Point, Pat and her husband Ken Wilson of Fairvale, Brenda and her husband Robert Boye of Quispamsis, 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Her brothers Royden and Theodore Scribner and sister Helen Eadie predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at 1:00 pm, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
