Obituary of Edgar Joseph Malley
The death of Edgar Malley, husband of the late Dorothy (Currie) Malley, of Ashton Place, Saint John, NB occurred on March 12th, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Beaverbrook, NB on July 3rd, 1939 a son of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Doiron) Malley. Edgar worked as a general foreman for M. F. Esson out of Newcastle, NB until his retirement in 1993. He is survived by one son Patrick (Faye) of Hamilton, ON; one daughter: Coby (Gerald) Goguen of Saint John, NB; four brothers: Omer, Louis, Clarence, and Albert Malley; nine sisters: Muriel Morrissette, Coby Allain, Norma Mollins, Mary Richards, Jeannine Malley, Theresa Malley, Brenda Bacon, Cecilia Malley, and Evette Stabile; three grandchildren: Joseph and Mary Markle-Malley and Leanne Goguen. Besides his wife and parents, Edgar was predeceased by one brother, Leonard Malley. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 with visitation on Tuesday from 2-9 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated form St. Ann's Parish on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 11am with Internment following in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
