Obituary of Eileen H.A. Wetmore
The death of Eileen H. A. Wetmore occurred on her 84th birthday, Monday, March 13, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Clifton Royal, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Amos J. and Lavinia L. (White) Wetmore. Eileen received her Teacher's degree in New Brunswick and moved to the Ottawa region and settled in Britannia. She furthered her education by receiving her degree in music, not only piano but also voice. Eileen's love of gardening lead to a Master Gardener Degree. A special thank you to her cousin Dawn McCumber and to the Staff and Volunteers of St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home and to all her friends in Ottawa. Eileen is survived by her sister-in-law, Pauline Wetmore and two nieces, Rebecca Locke and Susan Steward and families, all of Hampton, three cousins, Pamela Garnett of Saint John, Harrison Taylor of Dartmouth, NS and Joan McCumber and family of Saint John. She was predeceased by her brother, Calvert D. Wetmore. Following cremation a committal service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery, Clifton Royal, NB, on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Remembrances to the St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home Van Fund would be appreciated.
