Obituary of Edna Louise Curwin

CURWIN, EDNA L.- The death of Edna Louise Curwin, formerly of Douglas Avenue, wife of the late Cecil James Curwin, occurred on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saint John on August 8, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Arsin and Angela (Aucoin) Bourgeois. Edna was a member of St. Peter's Parish and their CWL and volunteered for many years at St. Joseph's Hospital. She is survived by two sons, Thomas "Tommy" Curwin (Catherine) of Rothesay and John Curwin of Saint John, two daughters, Arlene Mercer (Larry) of Quispamsis and Ann Curwin of Rothesay, seven grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Emily, Allison, Caitlynn, Abigail and Caleb, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Clarendon Street, Saint John on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rocmaura Nursing Home or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
