Obituary of Rhynie Ezekiel

The death of Rhynie Ezekiel of Saint John, NB occurred on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Saint John. Born in Lally Cove, NL, a daughter of the late William James and Anna Mary (Drake) May. Survived by four sons: Gordon (Barbara) Hutchings of Toronto, ON, George (Barbara) Hutchings and David (Kitty) Hutchings, both of Cornerbrook, NL, and Robert Ezekiel of Saint John; four daughters: Marion (Fred) Frigault, Joan Archer and Christina (David) Tivendale, all three of Saint John and Laura Defazio of Hampton, NB; one sister, Betty Herridge of Port-aux-Basques, NL; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces. Predeceased by her first husband, George Hutchings; second husband, Patrick Ezekiel; son, Allan Hutchings; brothers, Newman and Allan May; and sisters, Marion and Hazel May. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 11 am. Interment will be held in Cornerbrook, NL on a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or a charity of the donor's choice.
