Obituary of Irene Mary Flewelling

The death of Irene Mary Flewelling, wife of Alvin Flewelling of Saint John, NB, occurred on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Waterville, QC, a daughter of the late Edward L. and Florence (Farmer) Sheppard, Irene was a member of 1st Lancaster United Baptist Church and was a member of the Saint John Duplicate Bridge Club. Survived by a son, Michael (Ann) Flewelling of Saint John; a daughter, Pamela Lynn (Stephen) Todd of Auckland, New Zealand; two granddaughters, Lisa Ann and Kimberley Lynn Flewelling. Irene is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. At the request of the family there will be no visiting at the funeral home; a Memorial Service will be held from Ocean View Memorial Gardens Chapel on Monday, April 17, 2006 at 3:00 pm. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
