Obituary of PERCY L. COOK
The death of Percy Lorne "Junior" Cook of 46 Belgian Road, Saint John East, husband of Susan M. (Lecouter) Cook, occurred unexpectedly on Friday, May 5, 2006 at his residence. Born in Saint John on December 24, 1952, he was the son of Irene D. (McHugh) Cook of Saint John and the late Douglas J. Cook. Junior was a Pipe Fitter/Steam Fitter at the Irving Refinery and was a member of the U.A. Local #213 since 1973. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bingo and loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and his special dog, "Snooker". Besides his wife and mother he is survived by two sons, Jason Cook of Saint John, and Trevor Cook of Ontario, two daughters, Tammy Cook of Saint John and Katie Cook on Ontario, step-son, Allan Turrett of Saint John, step-daughters, Shyanne Turrett and Miranda Sheppard, both of Saint John, five brothers, John of Saint John, James of Alberta, Edward "Butch" (Elizabeth), Warren and Thomas, all of Saint John, five sisters, Dorothy Rowe (Sonny), Jeannie Moore (Kris Tanfara), Patricia Kaye (George), Mary Cook (Paul Pare) and Theresa Wilcox (John), all of Saint John, eight grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 2:15 PM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
