Obituary of Sadie E. LEBLANC
LEBLANC, Sadie E. - Surrounded by her family, Sadie (Newell) Leblanc of Saint John, NB, wife of Everett LeBlanc, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth, NS, a daughter of the late Ernest Newell and the late Bessie (Blade)(Newell) Burgess. Sadie had been employed at the Saint John General Hospital and later at the Regional Hospital as Housekeeping Supervisor for 27 years. She enjoyed traveling and was devoted to her family. Sadie is lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Everett; two sons, Everett "Eddie" (Mary) and Gerald (Marilyn), both of Saint John; two daughters, Bonnie LeBlanc of Hamilton, ON and Darlene LeBlanc of Saint John; three brothers, Gordon, Richard and Matthew Newell; two sisters, Barbara DeVeau and Judy Muise; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers, George and Bill Newell; three sisters, Bertha Gray, Jenny Homeney and Connie Newell. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Friday, May 12, 2006 at 11 am with interment following in Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
