Obituary of Ronald E Brighton
The death of Ronald Earle Brighton, age 66, of Loch Lomond Road, husband of Elvina (Dalling) Brighton, occurred unexpectedly on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Albert and Ella (Hayward) Brighton. Ron had worked for Bayview International and Parkway Mercury as the Manager of the body shop until his retirement in 1995. Ron was a member of Silver Falls United Church and besides his love for cars he enjoyed his camp, hunting and fishing. Besides his wife he is survived by son, Wayne (Coralina) Brighton of Baxters Corner; daughter, Sherry (Brian) Sheldrick of Quispamsis; sister, Elinor (Billy)Allaby of Upham; brother-in-law, Paul Quinlan, five grandchildren: Kendra, Kyla, MacKenzie, Brandon and Erin, several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sister Ruth Quinlan. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Saturday and Sunday, May 20 & 21, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2006 from Silver Falls United Church at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
