Obituary of AUDREY R.- McCUE
The death of Audrey Robina McCue of St. Martins, wife of the late Charles Lawrence McCue, occurred on Sunday, May 28, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in West Quaco, NB, on July 31, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Norman M. and Ruth I. (Brown) Prosser. Audrey was a member of Holy Trinity Church, St. Martins, the Quilting Guild and the ACW of the church. She was an affiliated member of the Fundy #34, Order of the Eastern Star, the St. Martins Senior Citizens Club and the St. Martins Historical Society. She served as a telephone operator at the St. Martins exchange for many years and was well known by her art work, being a self taught artist. She is survived by one niece, Audrey Ann Arsenault (Andrew) of St. Martins, double cousin, Georgie Prosser of Riverview and her two daughters, Marjorie Prosser and Lynn Reade, several great nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by one brother, Norman Lewis and one sister, Margaret Prosser. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, St. Martins on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Mosher Hill Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
