Obituary of Lesley John Crann
The death of Lesley John 'Andy' Crann, husband of Constance 'Connie' E. (Cole) Crann, occurred on June 1, 2006, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Grand Falls Station, NF. He was the son of the late William F. and Kitty M. (King) Crann. While an infant his mother predeceased him and he was raised by his stepmother Lilias M. (Brinston) Crann. He was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces from 1952-1974 during which time he served with the UN Forces in Cyprus. He was employed with Keddy's Inn, Fort Howe, as supervisor of the laundry department until his retirement. Besides his wife he is survived by daughters Heather Smith of Saint John, Darlene Scase (George) of Ontario, Trudy Theriault (Victor) of Saint John, his brother Charlie, sisters Gladys, Edna and Beverly, all of NF, grandchildren Angela, Michael, Christina, George Jr., Michele, great-granddaughters Karly, Kayla, Kayleigh, Kaitlyn and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Brenan's Chapel followed by cremation. Remembrances made to the Canadian cancer Society, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
