Obituary of DONALD M. LOVE SR

The death of Donald Malcolm Love Sr., of Saint John, occurred on Sunday, June 18, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, following a brief illness. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late William and Hazel (Fudge) Love. Mr. Love was a Locomotive Engineer with CNR for many years before his retirement. He was a member of the Antique Car Club, was an avid bird hunter and enjoyed all outdoor activities. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by one son, Donald (Laurel Trott) of Upper Loch Lomond, one daughter, Krista Love (Jeffrey Kaiser) of Philadelphia, two grandchildren, Samuel and Nicholas, longtime companion, Gloria Lamb and her children, Gordon Lamb (Cathy), Kenneth Lamb (Katherine), Donna Lizotte (Joe) and their families, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Gordon Love. Memorial service will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 2:15 PM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
