Obituary of Charles Maxwell Lingley

The death of C. Maxwell Lingley, husband of the late M. Dorothy (Linton) Lingley, of Saint John, NB, occurred on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at his late residence. Born in Saint John, NB the son of the late Charles Maxwell and Bessie (Finlay) Lingley, Maxwell was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and was Manager of the Saint John Milling Co., a member of the Union Club and the Masonic Lodge, and had been a member of Centenary Queen Square United Church and more recently a member of St. Mark’s United Church. Survived by a son, Robert Lingley of Ontario; a sister, Louise Lingley of Millidgeville, NB. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Friday, June 30, 2006 from 1-3 pm with a Funeral Service following from Brenan’s Chapel at 3 pm. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
